Objective
The foundation aims, in accordance with Article 2 of the statutes, to promote public health, public order and international cooperation in cannabis regulation.
The activities of the foundation consist of policy influence and knowledge sharing at national, European and global level, facilitating cooperation between government, science and relevant societal parties, and sharing insights from practice and research, as determined in Article 2 paragraph 4 of the statutes.
The foundation has no profit motive and aims for the public benefit. The objective does not include making distributions to the founder or to those who are part of the foundation's organs.
Public benefit

Cannabis regulation has consequences for health prevention, product safety, supervision, enforceability of regulations and combating illegal trade. Unclear or fragmented regulatory frameworks can lead to increased health risks, abuse of legal structures and undermining of the rule of law.
By advocating for coherent regulation, clear standard-setting and international coordination, the foundation contributes to:
- Protection of public health
- Strengthening consumer and patient safety
- Promotion of enforceable regulation
- Reduction of illegal market structures
- Combating undermining crime
- Strengthening international cooperation within existing legal frameworks
